What is the story behind Andi J's Cookies?

I have been baking for many years and cookies have always been my specialty. Back when I was in college I started baking mounds of cookies at Christmastime. My family and friends always looked forward to receiving special cookie treats at the holidays. One cookie that always bothered me was my chocolate chip cookie. It just wouldn't stay soft long enough for my liking. I don't like chocolate chip cookies that are thin, crispy, hard, or dry. I searched for a recipe that would produce a dense, thick, and soft cookie but still came up somewhat short. So I took matters into my own hands and worked a recipe over and over and over until I finally came up with, what is now, Andi J's Chocolate Chip Cookies. These cookies have always gotten rave reviews and were my most requested. I had been told by many people that I should sell them, so here they are for the world to enjoy! Don't forget the milk!
